Carl Clements Jr., 82, of Pooler passed away peacefully at home on July 17th, 2024. He was born to Carl Clements Sr. and Flaustine Clements in Savannah, Georgia.

Carl retired from Bellsouth/AT&T and was a member of Alpha Methodist Church. While at Bellsouth/AT&T he organized the golf tournament for many years. In his younger years he founded Bloomingdale Athletic Association where he coached baseball and football. In his free time, he loved spending time with his family, working on old clocks, playing golf and clipping coupons. The only thing he loved more than a good coupon was his family. Though he was known as the grumpypants of the family, he was generous and loving, especially when it came to his granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Clements Sr.; mother, Flaustine Clements; brother, Donald Clements; and his granddaughter, Christina Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Clements; sons, Charles Clements and Michael Clements (Cindi); granddaughters, Ashley Selfridge (Scott), Hannah Clements, and Kaylee Clements; great grandchildren, Brantley Clements, Charles Selfridge and Tucker Selfridge; and sisters, Starr Willis (Stanley) and Kim Kelly.

May his memory be eternal.

Carl's family will have a graveside service at a later date.
