Rincon - Carl R. McKay Jr., 63, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2019.

He was a beloved Father, Uncle, and Papa. As he would tell you, he was never wrong and loved a good debate. His favorite pastimes were watching sports, bowling and spoiling his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife, Mary K. McKay; son, Carl R. McKay III and his Fiancé, Nicolette; 2 grandchildren, Kaelin McKay and Alex Hogan; a niece, Megan Yardley and her husband, Tracy; and 5 nieces and nephews (his adopted grandchildren).

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at The Chapel Ministries located at 131 Goshen Road Ext., Rincon, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the Family is asking that donations be given to Backpack Buddies in Effingham County, 427 Keiffer Drive, Rincon, GA  31326.
