Obituary

Guyton – Carol Morgan Page, 90, passed away January 5, 2023 at home.

She was a native of Effingham County, but had lived in Pooler for 25 years before returning to Effingham in 1981.

She was predeceased by her husband, Troy, her parents, G.P. and Irene Morgan, son, Phil Page, brother, Clayton Morgan, and son-in-law, Mikell Dasher.

She was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler and a present member of Bethesda Church at Midland in South Effingham.  She had served in many ministries in both churches and was a long-time member of United Methodist Women and Women's Association at Bethesda.

She retired from Georgia Pacific Distribution Division after 22 years of service.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Dasher of Laurens, SC and Gail Rud and husband Pudge of Guyton; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Page of Guyton;  four grandsons, Phillip S. Page, Jr. of Richmond Hill, Michael Darieng and his son Jacob of Guyton, Aaron Dasher and his wife Emily and their children, Mattie, Landon, and Weston of Laurens, SC, Justin Dasher and his wife Renee and their children, Jeyla and Bryson of Laurens, SC; sister, Joann Conaway of Guyton; sister-in-law, Thressa Morgan of Guyton; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Bethesda Church at Midland followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Remembrances may be given to Bethesda Church at Midland, 3608 Midland Road, Guyton, GA 31312.
