Mrs. Carol A. Swinson, 76, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019.

She was born in Savannah to the late Harvey Lee & Mary Ernestine Adams.  She was also preceded in death by a son, William Delwin Swinson.  She was a member of the Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church.  She had previously been employed with the Chatham County Tag office, Cale Yarbrough Honda and Grainger Honda.

Survivors include her husband, William "Coach Billy" Swinson; children, Ronald Lee Swinson, Tonya Swinson Nesmith and Keith Adam Swinson; grandchildren, Mark Anthony Mathews, Joshua Adam Mathews, Christopher Alexander Mathews and Kinsley Lyn Swinson; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alan Adams, Deanna Hartley, Janice Adams and Gerald Adams and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
