Port Wentworth-Mrs. Carolyn Victoria Clayton, 75, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Tara Nursing Home.
Mrs. Carolyn was born in Savannah to the late Henry R. & Carrie I. Mincey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred B. Clayton, Sr. She was a member of the Port Wentworth Alliance Church.
Survivors include her children, Tina Prince (Steven), Bruce Clayton, Al Clayton, Jr. (Michele) and Betty Fountain; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Lehman Mincey; sister, Linda Redding and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Port Wentworth Alliance Church located at 222 Cantyre Street.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Port Wentworth Alliance Church located at 222 Cantyre Street. The burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
