Springfield – Carolyn K. Heyman, 82, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.
The Chatham County native was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church , W.E.L.C.A., and was a retired nurse from University Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Grace Kicklighter, Sr.; and husband, Julian S. Heyman, Jr.; sisters, Jane V. Roach and Gloria Dixon; and brother, Paul Kicklighter, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Laura Jean McCorkle (Jimmy), Julian S. Heyman, III, (Mary Jane), Isaac Heyman (Vicki), Marc Heyman (Stephanie), Richard Heyman, Jonathan Heyman, and David Heyman; 9 grandchildren, Joshua, Michelle, Jessi, Isaac, Sarah Kate, Trent, Benjamin, Matthew, and Cori; 6 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Grace, Ayden, Sebastian, Hunter, and Luke; sisters, Barbara Akins and Ruth Rushing; brother, Floyd Lee Kicklighter; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Lutheran Church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
