Mrs. Carolyn Plantrich, 77, of Pooler, GA passed away at her home on Sunday, March 10, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.

Carolyn was born in Brookville, PA and had lived in Pooler since 2012.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Gladys Platt Monrean.  She was employed for a number of years at St. Joe's Mercy Hospital in Michigan.  She was a member and a greeter at Compassion Christian Church – Henderson Campus, and led a women's Bible study for many years.  She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.  She was always very supportive of family and friends, sometimes by sending a card, or a phone call, or just a word of encouragement.  She will be remembered for sharing the gospel with strangers, family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Roy Plantrich; sister, Nancy Corbin (Larry); children, Michelle Bickes (Tim) and Mark Greeley (Claudia); step-children, Dean Plantrich (Shavon) and Lori Schedlbower (Ed); grandchildren, Lauren Bickes (fiancé – Ricky Duncan), Miranda Shannon (Devin), Rachel Hopkins (Austin), Allyson Banawa (Jarrod), Jacob Bickes, Luke Schedlbower, and Hannah Schedlbower, and a great-grandchild, Grayson Duncan.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The memorial service to honor Carolyn's life will be on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
