Rincon - Carter L. Thames, 64, died April 4, 2007 at his residence.
The Florence, SC native was a heavy equipment mechanic.
Survivors: two daughters, Tina T. Cleland and Dana T. Sample, both of Rincon; three grandchildren; mother, Mildred Braggs of Cayce, SC; two brothers, Kenneth C. Thames of Kingstree, SC and William Ross Thames of Massachusetts; an uncle and aunt, William R. and Edna Thames of Florence, SC; a half brother; a half sister; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Sunday, April 8 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, April 9 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
