Pooler-Mr. Cecil T. Arledge, 84, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Cecil was born in Register, GA to the late Clifford S. & Alma M. Arledge. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and he sang bass in several gospel groups. He loved to fish and have family gatherings. He retired after 36 years from Union Camp Box Plant, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Fay H. Arledge; children, Cindy (Bert) Newham, Craig (Kim) Arledge, Donnie (Karen) Arledge, and Michelle Arledge; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, whom the family considered a special blessing with the way they treated Mr. Cecil. Their address is P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31419
