Summerville, SC – Chad Leslie Register passed away peacefully at his home on November 10, 2022 at the age of 51

He was born in Pensacola, FL on July 20, 1971.  After receiving his masters degree from the University of West, FL he began working in the Aerospace industry, with companies such as Northrop Grumman, Gulfstream, and Boeing.

He is predeceased by his father, Donald Register and grandfather, Virgil Register of Crestview, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Register; his children, Taylor Ella Grace Register, Jeb Leslie Register (Nichol), Trevor Austin Register, and Taylor Emily Kessler (Gerald); his three grandchildren, Liam Register, Owen Register, and Addisyn Kessler; his mother, Sylvia Register Reeves (Ray); his sister, Misty Register Dean (Tim); two nephews, Jackson Dean and Mason Dean.

Chad was the Oak tree of our family, never wavering, strong and wise.  He was honest, kind and full of love for everyone around him.  Between playing poker with his buddies, fantasy football, golf and time with his dog, Hercules.  Chad loved spending time with his family at home, on the boat or at the lake.  He was taken from his family way to soon and will be missed tremendously.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be given in his memory to the Treutlen Home for Boys, 131 Old Augusta Central Road, Rincon, GA 31326.
