Charles "Charlie Brown" Fleming, age 46, was found on Tuesday morning in Glynn County. He went to sleep sometime during the night and drifted away from us.
Charles was born on October 20, 1970 in Savannah, GA. He was raised by his parents, Gail & Charles Fleming, Sr. He attended Windsor Forest High School as well as STC Academy, where he met his wife, Christine, and shortly after, their family started. Charlie Brown lived a care free life. He had his ups and downs but in all, his family was his whole world. He enjoyed being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Charles was a jack-of-all-trades, he could do anything from fixing a lawnmower to building a house from the ground up. If you ever came around and he saw you were in need, he would give you the last dollar in his pocket, the food off his plate, or the shirt off his back.
Charles is survived by his beloved family, Gail (John) DeJohn, Christine Fleming, Bruce (Suzanne) Fleming, James Fleming, Tony (Jennifer) Fleming, Connie Rollins, Rebecca (Michael) Ruiz; his children, Ashley (Danny) Rogers, Candice (Thomas) McCullough, Pamela (Trenton) Dyer and Charles Fleming; grandchildren, Skylar, Alexis, Bryce, Piper, Mikayla and one on the way, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, August 19th at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
