Guyton – Charles B. "Chuck" Dominy, III, 74, passed away August 29, 2022 at Memorial Health.

The Washington native served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Customs.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rincon Congregation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dominy; son, Charles B. Domimy, IV; and brother, Frank Dominy.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dominy; children, Jennifer Steptoe (Kevin), Kerstin Morris (John), and Elizabeth Pare; grandchildren, Matthew Corbitt, Kevin Steptoe, Jr., William Steptoe, Kaitlyn Pare, Jeremy Pare, Kingston Bean, and Javon Bean; sisters, Lee Anne Derror, Carol Gardner (Keith), and Betty Dominy; sister-in-law, Nancy Dominy; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rincon Congregation.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
