Charles Dalton Couey
Springfield– Charles Dalton Couey, 19, University of Georgia student, 2010 Effingham County High School graduate, ECHS football player, loved by many, friend to all, died Sunday Sept. 11, 2011 in Athens.
Survivors include his parents, Tim & Lesa Couey; sister, Ashlyn Couey, who he loved and cared for greatly, all of Springfield; grandparents, Delbert & Mary Jane Duff of Clyo and Rev. Charles & Rosa Couey of Lady Lake, FL; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation: 5-7 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 3 pm Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Rincon Baptist Temple.
Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
