Mr. Charles Edward Frison, age 67, of Savannah, Georgia, gained his wings at St. Joseph's/Candler Hosptial in Savannah on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Charles was born on May 28, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. He proudly served over 23 years in the United States Army, retiring in 1998 as Staff Sergeant NCOIC. He continued his career working as a Federal Civilian Service employee, retiring in 2015 as a Health Technician in the Tuttle Army Health Clinic in Savannah. He had a zest for life. He loved cooking, traveling, working with computers, and listening to music. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah; a son, Charles E. Frison I, of Pooler, Georgia; three daughters, Yolanda Frison of Fort Worth, Texas, Nichole Frison Brown (Dominick) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Daneetra Polite (Robert) of Pooler, Georgia; grandchildren, Disirae, Donimique, Dominick, Jr., Briana, Kolbi, Alex, JaQuari, Raevyn, RJ, and Jayla; great-grandchildren, Tifford and Karmyn; three sisters, Helene Jones, Evelyn Frison-Townsed (James), and Arner Avery (Claude), all of Memphis, Tennessee; two brothers, James Frison (Doris) of Millington, Tennessee and Donald Frison of Sarasota, Florida; brother-inlaw, Robert Young; sister-in-laws, Janice Frison, Vera Nelson (Shelton), and Josephine Bell (Curtis), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.. Charles' loved ones that preceded him in death are Ever Lee Frison (mother) John A. Frison (Father); three sisters, Lorraine, Georgia, and Josephine, and four brothers, John, Robert, Terry, and Jerry. Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler is in charge of local arrangements. M.J. Edwards Funeral Home - Stage Road Chapel, in Memphis, Tennessee (901)791-9700 will be in charge of the funeral and burial.
