Charles "Chuck" Hobart Harrelson, Jr. known for his infectious laughter passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 67. Chuck was a long time resident of Bloomingdale, GA.
Chuck was born on April 21, 1957 to Charles and Sandra Harrelson in Savannah, GA. He graduated from Tompkins High School in 1975. He worked as a Machinist at Continental Field for 20 years and then moved his career to K Machine Industrial Services where he retired in 2022.
He is survived by his children, James Harrelson, Stacee (Normer) Adams and his three grandchildren- Badge, Rowe, and Bear. He is also survived by his siblings Bro. Kenny Harrelson (Sherry), Deeanna Griffin , Ellen (Jake) Patrick and their children and grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harrelson Sr., his mother, Sandra Kengla Harrelson, and his brother, William "Billy" Harrelson.
A man of diverse passions, Chuck found joy in music, particularly as an avid drummer. Chuck's adventurous spirit also found expression in his fondness for motorcycles and his cherished Mustang, symbols of his zest for life and freedom.
For Chuck, happiness was found in the simple pleasures of life—a perfect afternoon spent grilling by the pool, surrounded by the laughter of his friends and family. His warm smile and generous spirit created an atmosphere of joy wherever he went.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 6th at 1pm at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes followed by services at 2pm. in the funeral home chapel.
