On the morning of December 27, 2025, Charles "Dick" Richard Moutray passed away peacefully due to natural causes at his home in Guyton GA. Dick was 84 years old.

Dick was born to Charles and Ruby Moutray in Mattoon, Illinois in October 1941.  He worked as a plumber and in construction and loved nature, birds, fishing trips, steel guitars, sports, golfing and gardening.  He was affectionately known with big smiles and contagious laughs. Dick could talk to anyone about something or nothing! His family was his pride and joy.  He will leave a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He enjoyed 51 years of marriage with his beloved wife Rose Moutray.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Moutray (Guyton, GA) and his two siblings, Steve Moutray (Mt. Vernon, IL) and Annita Mathias (Charleston, IL).  He is survived by his children, Shane Moutray (Mattoon, IL) and Shelly Moutray (Mattoon, IL), Anthony Moutray (Jacksonville, FL) and Kristopher Moutray (Guyton, GA) and his stepchildren Darren Reents (Morton, IL), Deborah McDonald (Morton, IL) and Douglas Reents (Tarpon Springs, FL).  He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He loved life and we loved him.

Visitation will be held 1-3 pm Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in the funeral home.
