Charles W. Pearce

Rincon – Charles W. Pearce, 82, passed away November 22, 2018.

He was a native of Chattanooga, TN, born on May 21, 1936. He has lived most of his adult life in Chatham and Effingham County.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Savannah, served in the United States Air Force, and retired from Gulfstream Aerospace.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Essie and Charlie Pearce; and a son, Douglas C. Pearce.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Arrington-Pearce; two sons, J. Scott Pearce, Sr. (Sharon) and G. Eric Adams (Cindy); three grandsons, Justin Adams, Jarrod Adams, and Jeffrey S. Pearce, Jr.; two sisters, Louise Brown and Herline Quarles (Bobby); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, whom he loved dearly.

A private viewing for family was held and a graveside service at Effingham Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to THA Home Care, Rincon Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS, for all of their help and concern.
