Savannah-Charles Jefferson Roach, Sr., celebrated his eternal homecoming July 8, 2009.

He is missed and loved by his wife of 68 years, Nell E. Mullins Roach, and children: Charles J. Roach, Jr., John E. Roach, Cherolyn R. Owenby. Additional family members include: children's spouses, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a brother and his family.

Charlie was a Christian, an engineer with Seaboard Coastline RR retiring with 41 years of service, a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, WBCCI Airstream GA Unit past president, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday July 9, 2009 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey East.
