Ms. Charlotte Lucas, 76, of Garden City, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her home.

Charlotte was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Lorenzo Reed and Geraldine Hill Reed.  She served her country in the United States Army for 26 years.  She taught pre-school in Augusta, Georgia, was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ in Rincon, and enjoyed roller skating.

Survivors include her fiancé, Johnnywill Williams; daughter, Kimberly Hiley; son, Leroy Grumbach, III; grandchildren, Lasaundra, Mikayla, and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Helen, Mary, Sol, Solomon, Garnetta, Sarah, Sheba, Seth, and Eli; brothers, Robert, Ronnie, Lawrence, and Ray Reed; sister, Georgetta King, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with burial at 3 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 8819 U.S. Hwy. 301 in Glennville, GA.
