Derrel Christopher "Chris" Kessler

Rincon- Derrel Christopher "Chris" Kessler, 38, died Sunday, January 6, 2013.

The Effingham County native was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church and worked for International Paper. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, that loved spending time with his boys.

Survivors include his sons, Will, Hunter, and Skyler Kessler; his mother, Nell Kessler; sisters, Sherry Rahn (Chris) and Lisa Noegel (Mark); a niece, Carrie Rahn; a nephew, Logan Noegel; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
