Christine Huggins

Guyton- Christine Huggins, 89, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Effingham Hospital.
The Candler County native was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Guyton. She was recently named Miss Effingham Extended Care Facility 2013. Prior to moving to Guyton, she had lived in Miami for about 30 years where she and her husband, Henry Grady Huggins, were very active in New Testament Baptist Church, having served in the nursery and bus ministry.
Survivors include her brother, Roscoe Collins (Carolyn) of Guyton; her sister, Jo Simmons of Aiken, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 2 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with visitation at 1 pm.
Interment: Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
