Christine Carr Kessler
Rincon – Christine Carr Kessler, 90, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Effingham Care Center.
The Effingham County native was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Carr and Sadie Barner Carr; her husband, Clarence J. Kessler, Sr.; and son, Bryan E. Kessler.
Survivors include her children, Clarence J. Kessler, Jr. (Gayle) of Rincon; Noel B. Kessler of Clyo, and Marla Kessler Tant (Kenny) of Garden City; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Ratcliff; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Kessler.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Church of Christ in Rincon.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
Remembrances may be given to Oak Grove Church of Christ Building Fund.
