Midway – Christopher Thomas Baker, 57, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at his home.

He was born June 27, 1967 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1986 Effingham County High School graduate that loved hunting and fishing. Chris was a jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen & R. Bernard Hearn, Sr.; father, Bernard Baker, Jr.; mother, Ann H. Baker; and his brother, Lee B. Baker.

He is survived by his nephew, James Lee Baker; uncle, Richard B. Hearn, Jr. (Sherry); cousins, Richard B. Hearn, III (Natasha) and their son, Richard Hearn, IV, Jennifer H. Lynch (Eric) and their children, William Lynch & Elizabeth Lynch; and his beloved golden retriever, Holly.

Memorial Service: 1 pm Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery
