Rincon – Christopher Scott Edwards, 62, passed away September 22, 2024 at Memorial Health.

The Effingham County native was a U.S. Air Force veteran.  He was employed at AGX Freight, he loved cars, and enjoyed gaming.  He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Myles Edwards, Jr.; and brother, Jeff Edwards.

Survivors include his children, Benjamin Edwards (Donna), Joshua Edwards, and Luca Edwards; his mother, Marcelle Oglesby Davis (Phillip); brothers, Todd Edwards (Cindy), John Edwards, and Brett Edwards (Lynne); step-brother, Jamie Davis; step-sister, Hayley Anderson (John); 3 grandchildren; his grandmother, Maxine Oglesby; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 12 noon in Guyton Cemetery.
