Glenwood-Mrs. Cindy Smiley Saxon, 58, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.
Cindy was born to the late Henry S. Smiley, Sr. & Helen Miness Smiley. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald "Jerry" Smiley, Sr. She was a member of the Glenwood Church of God where her husband is the minister. She loved to sing, and sang for many years with her family's gospel group, The Smiley's.
Survivors include her husband, Ronny Saxon; son, Ronny Quinn Saxon & Bonnie; grandson, Kayden; sisters, Janice & Waymon Bell, and Kathy & Warren Radford; brother, Ronnie & Janet Smiley, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Lake Cemetery outside of Metter.
