Clarence Q. Parker of Donalsonville, GA quietly went to be with the Lord on Thursday ,June 15 ,2023. Clarence and his wife Katheryn were happily married for 67 years and lived in the Lake Seminole community since late 80's. Katheryn went to be with the Lord in 2018. The family extends great thanks and appreciation to JoNell Fain who faithfully supported, loved, and cared for them for 15 years. Clarence is survived by his nephew, Tommy (Marion) Gaulden of Rincon, GA; niece Laura (John) Mudd of Pawling, NY; and nephew ,Bill Caddle of Louisville, TN. Also, among his survivors are four cousins, including Dianne (Ellis) Odom of Donalsonville, GA; Libby Odom of Crawfordville, FL; Robin (Joseph) Alday of Donalsonville, GA , and Bobby ( Gail) Glover of Donalsonville, GA.
Clarence served our country in the U.S Army and was a veteran of WWII ,101 Airborne Division and a Purple Heart recipient. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, but his memories of the battles were too horrific to talk about. He will always be a "hero" to his family and friends!
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, 2023 ,1:00 pm at his church- Lake Seminole Baptist Church, Donalsonville, GA.
