Claude Edward Summerlin, Jr. "Eddie", 65, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home.

Eddie was born in Chatham County and was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Edward Summerlin, Sr. "Bo" and Faye Wiggins Summerlin, and his sister's, Patty Summerlin and Lisa Marie Summerlin.  Eddie was currently employed with Custom Cabinets and was the former owner/operator of Summerlin Stucco for over 25 years.  He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren and taking them camping.  He was an avid bowler with the Savannah Bowling Association and a member of the Savannah Bowling Hall of Fame.  He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and was a sports fanatic, especially cheering on his Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.

He is going to be missed by his wife of 48 years, Linda Summerlin; daughter, Lisa Summerlin Harrison; grandchildren, Tyler Harrison and Brianna Harrison; nephew, Kenny Rahn (Brittany and Katiemae).

The visitation will be on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

The celebration of Eddie's life will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Angela Abraham officiating.  The pallbearers will be Aaron Walker, Dwain Walker, Tyler Harrison, Thomas Gilder, Chris Williamson, and Kenrick Chambers.  The burial will follow at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery near Ludowici, Georgia.
