Port Wentworth - Mrs. Claudia Idell Wilcox , 87, died Thursday at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Wilcox retired as a machine operator for Tetley Tea and was a member of the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilcox is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Wilcox and her parents Dan C. and Annie (Holiday) Cooler.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye (Jimmie) Hartley of Port Wentworth, Dale (Larry) Roberts of Stilson; sister, Gladys Simmons of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Jason Roberts and Chris Roberts both from Stilson, Teresa Edwards from Macon , and Traci Whitaker from Rincon; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery in Bluffton, SC.
