Guyton – Claudine Thornton Horton, 90, passed away January 3, 2024 at Evans Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 21, 1933 in Bacon County, GA she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Thornton and Sara Boatright Thornton; her husband, Raymond Edward Horton; son, William Dane Horton.

Survivors include her children, Ray Horton (Laura), Danny Horton (Tammy), Patsy Holland (Herman), Marie Holland (Willie), Tim Horton (Glenda), and James Horton (Gracie); 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Nola Brannen; a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be in Guyton Cemetery.
