Mrs. Claydie Perkins, 83, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Claydie was born to the late Lemuel & Viola Lastinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Perkins, and several sisters and brothers She was a homemaker and loved playing Bingo.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Charlotte Ann Smith (Tommy E.), Glenda Key (Sidney) and John Randall Perkins (Brenda); grandchildren, Glenda Rebecca (Becky) Reece, Thomas Russell (Rusty) Key, Sidney Blake Key, Kristina Jai Key, Christopher Scott Smith, Stacey Ann Smith, John Randall Perkins, Jr., Connie Lynn Taylor, Brandon Lee Perkins, and Matthew Clayton Perkins; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wallace and Bernie Lastinger, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with the graveside funeral and burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Rincon Cemetery located on Lexington Avenue.
