Effingham County-Mr. Clem William "Billy" Gale, Jr., 63, passed away on Wednesday,
December 22, 2010 at Hospice Savannah.

Mr. Billy was born in Savannah to the late Clem William Gale, Sr. and Audrey Rooks
Gale. He retired from Effingham County as a Correctional Officer and he loved fishing
and gardening.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy & Jeannette Gale of Effingham
County; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Esther & Terry Dowling of Waycross, Kay
& Jimmy Nease of Guyton and Ivy Sullivan of Waycross; niece, Lori Rogers; nephews,
Gary Gale, Timmy Gale, Greg Dasher, Allen Dasher, Larry Dasher, Michael Nettles,
Chuck Nettles, Frankie Lane and Thomas Strickland and a number of great-nieces and
great-nephews.

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Graveside Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Olive Cemetery near Waynesville, GA.
