Cleo Mons Fordham

Rincon – Cleo Mons Fordham, 95, passed away October 22, 2026 at Effingham Care Center.

Mrs. Cleo was born and raised in Metter and formerly worked in the fabric department at Wal-Mart. She was an active member of the Pineora Holy Church of God and loved spending time with her family. She served her church through the years in various capacities. She was a prayer warrior and leaves a legacy of kindness and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Sylvester Mons and Susie Sparks Mons; husband, Grady Brooks Fordham; son, Rhonnie Brooks Fordham; siblings, Mary Faye Miller (Tom) and Leo Mons (Frances).

Survivors include her children, Donnie Fordham (Peggy), Steven Fordham (Laura), and Tammy Wilkins (Jason); grandchildren, Tabitha Lewis (Brent), Kenneth Grubbs (Sherri), Tonya Brice, Tracy Barrow, Holly Brown, Caitlin Atkinson (Chris), Rhonnie Fordham, Ryan Wilkins (Abby), and Steven Fordham (Sydnie); 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2026 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
