GUYTON - Clifford Austin, age 72, passed away in his home on Monday, October 20th. Mr. Austin was born on Quantico Marine Base, Virginia. He was a racer and wrecker driver at Oglethorpe Speedway Park. He also hauled newspapers for Savannah Morning News for 20+ years.
Preceded in death by his father, Clifford Austin, Sr. and his mother, Dorothy Vaughn of Fredericksburg, VA.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Elizabeth Ann Austin; his children, Kimberly Dale Austin, Vince Austin (Crystal) of Guyton, Clifford A Austin, III (Pat) of Barnsville, William Joseph Austin (Kelly) of Guyton, Theresa Austin Suffel (Donald) and Vickie Austin of Virginia; his brother, Ralph Austin of Virginia; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home with a memorial service following.
