Clifford Helmey Jackson
Guyton – Clifford Helmey Jackson, 100, born November 18, 1911 passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Effingham Extended Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Fetzer and Ward L. Helmey, husband, Charles H. Jackson, a step-son, two step-daughters, two sisters, and five brothers. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a step-daughter and a number of step-grandchildren; a special nephew; two sisters, Ellen Danker and Bessie Studier; a brother, Jack Helmey; sister-in-law, Wilma Helmey all of Guyton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. Jackson will lie in state from 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, 121 Noel C. Conaway Rd., Guyton, GA 31312 or charity of choice.
