Clyde Wilson Alley, Jr., 85, passed away March 25, 2025 at his home in Rincon, Georgia.

Kentucky born, Clyde's life moved him around the globe. He is a son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a Soldier; a salesman; an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; and a teacher. He was a child of God, a dedicated member of his church community, a patriot; he was a hunter, a golfer, and a volunteer. He lived in Kentucky, Florida, Germany, Montana, and Georgia; across all of these homes, he built his family and connected with people who became lifelong friends. He was a storyteller, not a small talker, and seemed to never meet a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Wilson Alley, Sr., and Wilma Hackney Alley; son, Clyde Wilson Alley, III "Trey"; and sister, Vicki Harmon.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vivian Alley; daughter Vicki Inman and husband Jeremiah; grandchildren, Victoria Inman, Rebecca Inman and husband Joe Naples, and Michael Alley; greatgrandchildren, Eva and Stella Alley; brothers-in-law, Kurt Harmon and Robert Turple; sister-in-law, Marlene Downe and husband Don; nephews, Kent Harmon and Mark Wheatley; nieces, Katie Wheatley and Savannah Thomson; and countless more dear family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Guyton Christian Church.

A reception and visitation will follow the service in the social hall.
