Springfield – Clyde Alvin Dyson, 87, passed away December 11, 2021 at his daughter's residence.
The Florida native was a member and Deacon of Trinity Baptist Church of Springfield, a loyal servant of God, whom loved his family. He was the owner and operator of Dyson Logging for 40 years and loved Bass fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon Dyson and Sarah Payne Dyson; the Love of his life for 63 years, Ruby DeVane Dyson; his sons, James Edward Dyson and Kenneth Wayne Dyson.
Survivors include his son, Mike Dyson (Marla) of Rincon; daughter, Barbara Liscio (Mike) of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jill Bennett of Hardeeville, SC.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Springfield Cemetery Annex.
