Concepcion (Connie) Bantilan Sawdy

1940-2018

Rincon - Concepcion B. Sawdy, 77 passed away May 7, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, Savannah, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents Matias Bantilan and Saturnina Cabidas Bantilan; sisters Solome C. Bantilan, and  Asucion C. Bantilan.

She graduated from Saint Michaels College Iligan City, Philippines with a Bachelor of science in Elementary education and taught in Manila many years. After coming to the USA in 1993 she retired from Krogers Rincon. She was a member of Saint Boniface Catholic Church, Springfield.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David L. Sawdy; Sisters, Lita, Linda, and Dina Bantilan; Grandson, Cody Moore; Stepdaughters, Lisa Weaver, Patty Aeger, Michelle Baker; Stepsons, David D. Sawdy and Mike Sawdy; 15 Step Grand Children; and 10 Step Great Grand  Children.

Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Saint Boniface Catholic Church with the funeral service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Interment will be at a later date in the Heavens Gate Cemetery, Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines.
