Corey Michael Lehtinen passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 27 and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.

Corey came into this world June 13, 1995, in Toms River, New Jersey.  During his life, his grandparents, Deborah "Grams" and Michael "Pops" Lehtinen Sr. raised and nurtured him into adulthood.

He was 2013 graduate of Memorial Day School.

Corey was employed through Aerotek at Gulfstream.

He had a great passion for cars, music, and sports.  During his life, he excelled in baseball, basketball, and rugby.  He will be remembered as an outstanding athlete, loving sibling, devoted grandson/son, and amazing man with a big heart for those he held dear.  Corey was a true Jersey Boy until the very end and will be missed beyond comprehension.

Corey is survived by his father, Michael Lehtinen Jr.; grandmother, Mary Ferguson; aunt, Kimberly Long (Boyd); stepmother, Sharon Lehtinen; cousins, Ashlyn and Gregory Hicks; brothers, Brandon, Carlos, and Zachary; sisters, Brittney and Ayliah; as well as numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 17 ^th at the Compassion Christian Church located in the AMC building, 55 Al Henderson Blvd, Savannah, GA  31419.  All are welcome to attend.
