Meldrim-Mr. Coy Blair, 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Blair was born in Clyde, GA and a longtime resident of Meldrim. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Richmond Hill and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Dixie Motors of Savannah.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Sally Gomieo Blair of Meldrim; children, Charles (Pam) Blair of Indiana, Chris (Leigh) Blair of Brooklet, Bernard (Sharon) Blair of Eden, Jeannette (Rocky) Walker of Dublin and JoAnn (Rick) Peterson of Iowa; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and his sister, Virgilee Rahn of Savannah.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be private.
