Meldrim-Mr. C.R. Saturday, Jr., 68, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Saturday was born in Eden to the late C.R. Saturday, Sr. & Ola Mae Saturday. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and retired from Cummings Engine Company.
Survivors include his wife, Faye R. Saturday of Meldrim; children, LaJuan (Terry) Taylor of Rincon, Ebony (Brian) Beckworth of Meldrim, Michele (Steve) Spalding of Oak Ridge, NC, Robert Keith Saturday (deceased) and Del R. Saturday (deceased); fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters, Robbie (Gill) Allen of Redford, MI, Marion (Franklin) Royer of Meldrim, Linda Pickard of McDonald, TN and Sharon (Bernard) Blair of Eden and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
