Craig Brent Holcombe, 55, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Candler Hospital.

Craig was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Earl & Geneva Holcombe.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Holcombe and Bruce Holcombe.  He was the owner/operator of Craig Holcombe Wallcovering and Painting and attended Faith Harvest Sanctuary.  He enjoyed going to the auction, spending time with his animals, especially horses, but will be remembered for enjoying the time spent with his family, particularly his grandbabies.  He was loved by many.  He never met a stranger.  People always said he was like a big Teddy Bear.  He had the biggest heart for anyone & would give the shirt off his back.  He was a loving daddy, husband, papa,  uncle, and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Holcombe; daughters, Heather Tolmie (Brett), Jessica Colson (Danny), and Sheena Covington (Justin); grandbabies, Connor, Sydney, Asher, Beckam, with Asa, Eli, and Baby Colson on the way; siblings, Kenny Holcombe (Dale), Roger Holcombe (Penny), Mike Holcombe (Sandy), Mark Holcombe (Janice), Angela Cowart (Carl), Nancy Mincey (Trey), Phillip Holcombe, Kevin Holcombe, and Mary Thaxton; a number of nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Wanda Williams; father-in-law, David Payne; sister-in-law, Amy Kinard & brother-in-law, Jason Payne.

The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the chapel of the funeral home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Tony Hewitt and Pastor Mark Minter officiating.  The pallbearers will be Ken Holcombe, Mitchell Holcombe, Shane Holcombe, Clint Holcombe, Mike Holcombe, Jr., Jason Holcombe, Brendan Padgett, John Padgett, David Thaxton, David Holcombe, Brent Holcombe, Matt Holcombe, and Trey Hewitt.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations or monetary gifts will be accepted by the family.

All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).
