Curtis Leroy Futrill
Rincon – Curtis Leroy Futrill, 81, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015.
He retired from Kemira and had worked at American Cyanamid and was a member of the International Association of Machinist Local #650. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis P. Futrill and Bessie Wall Futrill.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elmeda Jones Futrill; son, William Futrill (Rachel) and grandchildren, Laura and Staci Futrill; son, Edward Futrill (Brenda) and grandchild, Michael Mock; and great-grandchildren, Paris, Delilah, and David Mock. Rachel and Brenda were daughters he never had. Also considered his family, Dee Sheffield, Leon Jones, Mike and Judy Collins.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be held.
We request that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Humane Society of Springfield, GA or Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 494, Claxton, GA 30417.
