Guyton – Curtis L. Scruggs, Sr., 80, passed away November 9, 2020.

The Alabama native served in the U.S. Army and retired from Shockley Plumbing. He was a big fan of college football, Effingham County Volleyball and was an avid fisherman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, Kinley and Clay, whom he loved dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Morgan Scruggs; children, Penny, Ginger, Jan, Curtis, Jr., and several grandchildren; step-daughter, Jamie Tucker (Randall), and their children, Kinley and Clay; sisters, Ann Stinson (Tony), Karen Morgan (Jeff), and Kim Peacock (David); and several nieces and nephews.

No services will be held.
