Ellabell-Mrs. Daisy M. Brown, 99, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at The Place at Pooler.
Mrs. Daisy was born in Savannah to the late Ruben & Annie Long. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Raymond L. Towles, Sr. and Robert E. Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blitchton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Raymond L. Towles, Jr.; granddaughter, Melissa Towles; step-daughters, Vicki Mixon, Lynette Mixon and Patty Maynard; step-son, Tommy Brown and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation was from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mrs. Daisy's life was at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Darnell Barner officiating. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 or to the Blitchton Baptist Church, 5204 U.S. Hwy. 80, Ellabell, GA 31308.
