Mrs. Dale Gilstrap, 65, of Garden City, went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Dale was born and raised in Douglasville, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross Junior Pirkle and Lizzie Mae Wilkerson Pirkle.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Pirkle.  Dale was the owner of G&G Professional Cleaning.  She enjoyed family vacations every year to the Smokey Mountains.  She loved the fresh air and beautiful scenery.  She also enjoyed horseback riding.  Her family was very special to her and she loved so much to spoil her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Joe Gilstrap, Sr.; her two daughters, Rebecca Dale Ginn (Paul Ginn) and Jody Lynn Gilstrap; her son, Joe Glenn Gilstrap, Jr. (Sunny Gilstrap); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nicole Huggins (Brandon), Jessica Ginn, Grayson Gilstrap, Jalyn Miller, Wyatt Huggins, Tucker Gilstrap and Maverick Huggins; siblings, Cora Rushton, Johnny Pirkle, Minnie Pirkle, Hugh Pirkle and Carlos Pirkle.

The visitation in remembrance of Dale will be held on Tuesday, June 30th from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the funeral to begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.

All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
