Dalton Lee Jackson, of Rincon, GA, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, September 25th at the young age of 21. Dalton entered this world on January 25, 2002 in Vidalia, GA. The unexpected surprise is that he was supposed to be a she. We had a girl nursery and cute girly clothes washed and waiting for the arrival! His sisters went up to their Granny and said something was wrong with their sister. Their sister was actually their brother! He had a very special bond with his Granny Duke, who got her unique name because he wanted to go see his Granny and her dog, Duke, but he just shortened it to Granny Duke and it stuck! Dalton loved guns, playing his PS4, music, and his dog Xena. He was an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. In his youth, he was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and an avid Lego builder. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Dalton was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Jesse Ray Robinson and Lee Roy Williams, both of Vidalia. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Jennifer Jackson of Rincon. Siblings, Heather and Kaley Jackson of Rincon, and Shayla Carter (Courtney) of Dublin. Great grandmother, Jean Colson of Macon. Grandmothers, Debbie Robinson of Macon, Ellen Jackson of Lyons, and Brenda Williams of Vidalia. Nephews, Jackson and Carson. Nieces, Marlee and Peyson. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, September 29, 2023 in the funeral home.
