Guyton – Dan E. Frailey, 82, passed away December 18, 2025 at Memorial Health.

The Flagler Beach, FL native was a retired Forest Supervisor from Union Camp Woodlands Division after 41 years of service.  He was a 1966 graduate of the University of Florida.  Dan was a 30 year member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, where he was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher of the FROG Sunday School Class, Church Parliamentarian, Choir member, and active in the Children and Youth Departments. Dan was also active in GAP Ministry, was a member of Savannah Area Forestry Club, and member of the Savannah Jaycees.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Shill Morton; and sister, Elaine Frailey.

Survivors include his wife, Diane B. Frailey; children, Lynn Amalfitano (Vince), Robert Frailey (Maria), and Danielle Brandenburgh (Billy); grandchildren, Anna Amalfitano, Christopher Amalfitano, Will Brandenburgh, and Emory Brandenburgh; sister, Eleanor Shill; brother-in-law, Mike Burnsed (Joanne); and nephews, Kyle Burnsed (Lindsay) and Timothy Burnsed (Kimberly).

Visitation: 10 – 11 am Monday, December 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Funeral: 11 am Monday, December 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery

Remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Rincon Building Fund.
