Dana Marie Burnham

Dana Marie Burnham, 58, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Candler Hospital.

Dana will be missed by her husband of 36 years, Alan W. Burnham; children, Blake Burnham (Alice) and Ciara Sikes (Austin); grandchildren, Brooklyn Burnham, Lucy Sikes, Addilyn Burnham, and Ella Sikes; mother, Shelia Lowe; sister, Tonya Royal (Brian); brother, Brian Lowe (Brandi); half-brother, Jason Hamm (Cassie); mother-in-law, Gayle Burnham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Wenger (Rick), Dianne Snead (John), Wayne Burnham (Lori), and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dana was preceded in death by a son, Alan Thomas Burnham; father, Hugh V. Lowe; grandparents, Howard “Dobe” Thomas and Lucille Thomas; father-in-law, Dr. Warren Wells Burnham. She was employed at Bloomingdale Elementary School for 26 years. She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, best mom ever, a wonderful Gigi to her beloved grandchildren, favorite daughter, and a great sister. She loved people, her school babies, her school family as well as all children. She was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church and was strong in her faith. She was the youth leader for many years then moved into helping with the Children’s Church program. Dana was currently an active leader of the children’s group at Morning Star Community Church. She loved playing softball and continued her love for the game while watching her grandbabies play softball. Dana is going to be missed but always remembered.

The visitation will be on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home. The service to honor Dana’s life will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
