Mr. Dana Leroy Stanton, Jr., 78, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Dana was preceded in death by his father, Dana Leroy Stanton, Sr.  He was a proud United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed painting, eating, and playing the guitar.  He will be remembered for having a sense of humor and for always helping others.

Survivors include his life partner, Dawn Paris; daughters, Chanel Paris and Brooklynn Cupples, and his mother, June Starr.

The funeral to honor Dana's life will be on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 8819 U.S. Hwy 301 in Glennville, Georgia.
