Rincon – Danalyn C. Pittman, 68, passed away September 10, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born August 24, 1956 in Savannah, GA to the late Joe Thomas Crawford and Dotsie Louise Dixon Crawford.  She grew up in Savannah before moving to Effingham County many years ago.  She worked for Travel Traders for over 17 years as store manager.

She is survived by her loving husband, David F. Pittman, Sr.; sister, Jovita Cowart (Ralph); brother, Kent Crawford; daughter, Desire Dixon (Jason); two grandchildren; step-son, David F. Pittman, Jr. "Davie" (Susan); five step-grandchildren; a nephew; several step-nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at North Salem Baptist Church, 955 GA Hwy. 30, Port Wentworth, GA 31407 with Rev. Mike Jones officiating.
